Rung half muffled to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Lieutenant John Cragg Dunn,
a ringer at this tower who was seriously wounded on 24th March 1916 near Elois in Belgium.
He died on 25th March aged 27 years. His resting place is now in the Military Cemetery at Lijssenthoek.
